Produced For the British Broadcasting Corporation
Twenty-five years ago photojournalist Daniel Meadows was in art school, with long hair like a hippie
and high ideals about living an artistic life. Now he has a career as a photographer and struggles against
the one-dimensional aspect of photographs. Hoping to expand the stories that his pictures tell, Daniel and BBC producer Mark Burman travel across England recording the oral histories of the many families he has photographed in the last quarter century.
