Producer Bill Drummond examines the shadowy world of serial killers with Dr. Janice Morrison, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who has extensively interviewed most of Americas known serial killers. In the course of analyzing the thousands of hours of interviews with these notorious killers, she has developed intriguing theories about the reasons serial murderers like John Wayne Gacy or Ted Bundy are compelled to kill.

Program Credits

Serial Killers was produced by William Drummond, with production assistant Joe Tamblyn. The studio engineer was Robin Wise. The actors were the Shotgun Players of Berkeley, California. Special Thanks to KUTV in Salt Lake City. In 2004, more than 30 years after she began her research, Helen Morrison completed her book: "My Life Among the Serial Killers, Inside the Minds of the World's Most Notorious Murderers", published by Harper-Collins.
