From the bumper crop of zuccini to the mysterious failure of gourmet sweet corn, gardening is a sure source of satisfaction, frustration, and hard work. Our program looks at the heartbreaks and rewards of growing food -- for market, for friends, or for yourself. We visit with small scale growers who have quit city jobs to make a go of the farming life, and who come up with inventive ways of getting their products to the dinner table.
