Dheera Sujan is an award winning producer who has been with Radio Netherlands for 15 years. An Indian who grew up in Australia, she has long been fascinated by multicultural identities. Over the years she has interviewed people ranging from Guatemalan terror victims to internationally acclaimed writers and musicians. She has made programs about the unexpected joy to be found amongst children living in an Indian slum, and she is equally enthralled talking to a philosopher scientist who is looking at the relationship between God and robots. Dheera remains ultimately fascinated by the human heart and soul – a fascination she gets to indulge in her current position as a documentary producer for the program Vox Humana.
