Writer Brian Leyden lives in New York City, but his heart remains in Ireland. Each year, he returns to the village where he grew up to collaborate with playwright Willy Conlan. The coal mine which supported the village has closed and small farmers are leaving the mountainside, but the two writers still find the beauty and power of the village captivates and inspires them. REI producer Julian Vignoles joins Leyden on his annual pilgrimmage to Ireland.
