In the heart of England lies Britain's second city, Birmingham.
Birmingham is an ethnic
melting pot, with more than 25% of its one
million people coming from either an
Asian or
African-Caribbean background. The city is
currently undergoing enormous
economic
redevelopment, but a spiritual shift is
happening as well. A community of white
Muslims
has become allied with Asian and African-
Caribbean Muslims. BBC producer Tony
Phillips
takes us inside this unusual religious
community to see where blacks, whites
and Asians
are coming together to solve the problems of
the inner city.
